Ella Cafe
Ok so guys this is a cute first date spot so stop taking us girls to damn Starbucks to talk because we all know you don’t want to spend the big bucks. It’s cool. Some girls understand you want to see if we are first
worth it for an actual full meal but stop suggesting Starbucks as a meet up. Ok? Thanks. So the interior is super cute and there are fun drinks and sandwiches/soups. Their Plantation location has a faux fire place in the back. I tried their caramel rosemary iced latte made with macadamia nut milk (I’m not a vegan but I try to avoid dairy when I can). The latte had a smooth caramel flavor with the right amount of rosemary. I also visited their Cooper City location and had their Mocha Iced latte which was the right amount of chocolate and coffee taste. This location does not have the faux fire place FYI so take future Bae to the Plantation location.
Tasta Gelato
I’ve had tons of gelato, especially being from New Yawkk, and this one has tons and tons of amazing flavors to choose from. They also let you sample as many as you want (man I go overboard and try at least 10 each time 😂). My favorite combination is their Cannolo and Settemezzo. Cannolo tastes like the inside of a creamy delicious cannoli, and setteemezzo is hazelnut with crunchies and it tastes like a mix of nutella and ferrero rocher. Oh goodness can you feel the combination in your mouth 🤤 They also have espresso, coffee, cannolis, gelato sandwiches and etc.
Roasting Buddies
Coffee, salad and sandwich spot. However, this is not your typical coffee spot. It comes with fancy looking drinks and they offer a wide variety of pastries. Interior is cute and they have couches right when you walk in. I had their chocolate croissant and mocha drink which was espresso, milk and mocha whip cream. Mmm this was a chocotastic combo. The croissant was fluffy with just the right amount of chocolate but I do hope, like other spots, their filling would reach to both ends of the croissant instead of just the middle.
Hanji Snow Cream + Boba Tea
Saved the best for last and I’m kind of scared to share this with you all because it’s so hard sometimes to even find a table here. I freaken love this place! I have been coming here a lot lately to get my work done, and they also have games to keep the kids entertained. Everyone is super sweet and sometimes they even give you the left over tea for your bubble tea! (man I love free stuff 🏆) My favorite is their black milk tea with sea salt crema and light boba (This is not a set item on the menu but thats how I usually have it). They also have snow cream which is shaved ice but here they don’t just add syrup to the plain ice they actually have blocks of ice with flavors already mixed in, and they shave it so fine that the snow is so creamy it melts in your mouth 🤤 OMG!
