Don’t be this parent, go with a list!
- Turkey (duh!)
- Mashed potatoes (box or actual potatoes) or sweet potatoes
- Corn on the cob or canned corn
- Kerry gold butter (Yes, Kerry Gold no other company. You will thank me later)
- Gravy and broth (vegetable or meat)
- Cranberry sauce
- Turkey prep ingredients and materials (twine, celery, stuffing, onions, thermometer and etc)
- Garlic or butter rolls (combo of garlic & butter is next level yum)
- Mac & Cheese
- Pumpkin, apple or pecan pie (My favorite store pie is Patti LaBelle’s sweet potato pie)
- Coffee (Does life even start without it?) or soda, sparkling water/cider and etc.
- Disposable plates, napkins, cutlery, and a carving knife is a must
- Green beans
- Herbs like sage, rosemary, basil, parsley, cilantro, chives and etc
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream to serve over desserts
- Ingredients to make your favorite salad
- Nuts such as pecans, walnuts or almonds to dress up any dish
- Milk, heavy cream, sour cream or non-diary cream (I like Nutpods—original flavor)
- Ice (Especially if you live in a warmer climate like Miami)
- Games! Not a food item but always a fun time playing with family & friends (ahem, catan)
